Title: The Lost Letter
Subtitle: A Forgotten Note That Changed Everything
Inside a trunk that had stood sealed and unused since her great-grandmother's time, Emma found a letter that her great-grandmother had been given by Emma's grandfather Decades Before. The writing was clearly recognizable-it was her grandfather, who had died decades earlier.
Curiosity overcame her, the letter flapped open what her grandmother never received: "Meet me under the old oak tree at sunset. I have something of utmost importance to tell you." Fifty years old, the letter-it's all that old.
Emma burst in on her great-grandmother, earning a gasp from her. Tears brimmed in her eyes as she whispered, "I thought he never came, but he did."
Through midnight came the clasp into their fingers and the whole family walked upon the lazy hill under which the old oak tree, where love once waited, lost but now found, shallow-rooted.
